When they killed Malcolm X, Fred Hampton, and turned all the other supposed other black freedom fighters into house negros, it destroyed black unity for 2 generations. Hakeem is an example of that

Perhaps he can read the headline article in his hometown newspaper, the New York Times. Apparently, even when AIPAC can buy politicians in the most senior positions in leadership in Congress, it can’t buy the ability to control what is published in the most important newspaper in the United States.

“How Netanyahu Prolonged the War in Gaza to Stay in Power

Secret meetings, altered records, ignored intelligence: the inside story of the prime minister’s political calculations since Oct. 7.”

its a scary and nauseating prospect. if only someone would come out on the naitonal level, giving the masses of discontented and fed up people who normally vote Democratic, an alternative to look forward. I had dread that no other politician received more money over his career than J R Biden but I still didnt feel that the AIPAC money was the main reason he became a soulless accompice to genocide. We dont seem to have a single person eqivalent to a younger Biden who really wants to run, including AOC..

We need a courageously ethical and moral person leading our government. We don't have one with a gavel now, and we wouldn't have one with Jeffries. Saying nothing about Mamdani is worse than offering a tepid endorsement. We need the person who will tell the truth, take the hit, and keep on going. For my country's and my children's future, in the House it's AOC.

I don’t view Jeffries as a leader for the Democrats. I want a leader who isn’t afraid to call a genocide a genocide, even when Israel is the perpetrator, and especially when the U.S. is complicit. Our Congress has betrayed American values — although cynics say these Are American values. Sen. Chris Murphy comes to mind as one of the few Democrats not afraid to speak out about abominations at home and to vote against arming Israel.
