Vicious Racist Laura Loomer Started As Israel Fanatic

Freaks like her and Stephen Miller right to power on their hate

Laura Loomer, the far-right racist conspiracy theorist and self-described "proud Islamophobe," is no longer an outsider in Trump World—she's now inside the tent. Once banned from virtually every major social media platform for hate speech, Loomer has emerged as a fixture in Donald Trump’s White House, clearly having established a nauseating and disturbing bond with the weird old man in the Oval Office.

But, according to this Ha’aretz piece by Ben Samuels, for many Jewish Americans, Loomer is old news. She has long exploited her Jewish identity to promote anti-Muslim hatred, peddle wild conspiracy theories, and try to shield herself from criticism. Her record includes:

• Saying Islam is a “cancer”

• Celebrating the drowning deaths of migrants: “Good. Here’s to 2,000 more.”

• Claiming Ilhan Omar wants “another 9/11”

• Being banned from Uber for demanding the right to reject Muslim drivers

• Comparing herself to Holocaust victims by wearing a yellow Star of David while handcuffed to Twitter HQ

She’s pushed 9/11 trutherism, called Democrats "jihadists walking Jews to the gas chambers," and repeatedly deployed Holocaust imagery in grotesque attacks on Black Lives Matter and Jewish Democrats like Rep. Lois Frankel.

In 2020, she ran for Congress with full-throated support from Trump and his allies, including Roger Stone, Lara Trump, and Republicans Abroad Israel co-chair Marc Zell—who ludicrously called her a “heroine of Israel.” Even as the Republican Jewish Coalition withheld support, major GOP donor and AIPAC ally and founder of Home Depot, Bernie Marcus helped bankroll her campaign.

She lost badly, blamed "big tech interference," and ran again in 2022, this time backed by fringe figures like rancid antisemite and racist Paul Gosar and Michael Flynn. She lost again—but never conceded.

Now she's back in the spotlight, appearing with Trump at 9/11 memorial events and feeding the same hate that has real-world consequences. After October 7, she claimed a “global day of jihad” was imminent—inciting the Illinois landlord who murdered 6-year-old Wadea al-Fayoume and stabbed his mother.

What’s especially disturbing isn’t just Loomer’s hate—it’s her normalization. Trump calls her a “free spirit” and “a big fan.” Ye (formerly Kanye West) called her one of the “good Jews” while praising Hitler. Loomer joined in, saying “as a Jew,” she supported their free speech. And Hitler too, I guess.

In any functioning democracy, Laura Loomer would be a fringe crank. In today’s GOP, she’s a rising star. (Republicans may not believe in affirmative action but if you are one of those rare KKKanye Jews, educated at Dennis Prager “university,” and comfortable working with real pogromchiks (antisemites) I’ll bet Trump has a job for you. College degree not necessary. High school degree, maybe.

It works for Trumpy self-hating African Americans too. Tim Scott. A senator. Really!

And antifemale women: Nancy Mace, for instance.
